We are pleased to announce a new Sunday Adult Study starting on June 7, 9:30 am (new time), with a fresh biblical perspective based on a book by Katherine Doob Stakenfeld called Just Wives? Stories of Power & Survival in the Old Testament & Today. Sue Pray will lead the discussion in which the old stories of biblical women bring to light ever-present issues of humanity — justice, mercy, and faith, applicable to all Christians today.

In this study, we will read about power and privilege, survival and cunning, courage, and resistance. We will discuss cultural norms that were in place what ideas still exist in our lives today. How do these ancient stories inform our contemporary truth?

To prepare for the study, please obtain your own book, for example Amazon (used or new $8-$16). Note: We have learned these books will not arrive in time for June 7th start, so Sue is willing to add a session, looking at a woman who is not part of this book. For the first session on June 7th, please read Genesis chapters 1-3. But order your books soon!

We will launch this new series on June 7 at a new time of 9:30-10:15 am on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87138655979Note: If you want reimbursement for the book, please email annover@icloud.com.
