Maintaining Mental Health During the Pandemic

As the isolation and restrictions of the Coronavirus global pandemic drag on for longer than any of us could have imagined, maintaining strong mental health becomes harder and harder. Now parents, kids, teachers and administrators are faced with a difficult situation with seemingly no solution that works well for all.

Ensuring that we remain mentally healthy and strong during this time is critical and increasingly harder to do. Please consider some of the resources listed below to assist you in finding a positive attitude in these times. The fourth, last and largest circle is labeled GROWTH ZONE and includes these nine statements: I find a purpose; I think of how I can help others; I use my skills to service those in need; I show empathy to myself and others; I keep myself emotionally happy and transmit hope; I live in the present and focus on the future; I practice calmness, patience, relationships and creativity; I find ways to adapt to changes; I show gratitude.
