Nursery Care

The nursery is staffed every Sunday by our infant first aid- and CPR-certified caregiver who will provide loving attention to your infants and children through 1st grade from 9:30 – noon. During this time, we will provide a snack, prayer, story, and free play is encouraged.

Discovery Chapel

(Grades K-5)

All are welcome at Sunday School, and we offer a safe, inclusive environment for children. Discovery Chapel leaders offer interactive sessions to help children deepen their connection in our church community and explore how their faith can help them navigate their world.

During the school year, kids in grades K–5 are invited to join leaders after the Children’s Message in worship. Our program will let children experience worship through play and activity-centered lessons that build Biblical literacy and discover how faith can lead to love-centered action in our daily life.

Youth

(Grades 6-12)

We encourage our youth to become active participants and members of the congregation by engaging in our regular Sunday morning worship services. Youth can deepen their faith and build connections with their peers during activities. Teaching our children to be compassionate and service-oriented people of faith is one of our core values.

ALL 6th-12th graders are welcome. We believe youth can and should be involved in our main worship experience on Sundays. Reach out to our Director of Faith Formation for more information.

Activies

Seasonal:

Trunk-or-Treat

Games, costumes, decorations, prizes, and – of course – CANDY! This event is open to the community and has grown over the years. Our adults have as much fun as the kids!

Christmas Pageant

Children and teens are given the opportunity to give their time and talents as they present the message of Christ’s birth through our Christmas Pageant. All kids who have a heart to participate are encouraged to join through song, acting or enthusiasm as we look at this blessed story through different perspectives each year.

Easter Egg Hunt

Families are invited to celebrate God’s renewing promise of salvation with an Easter Egg Hunt typically given the week before Holy Week. All children have the opportunity to find the same amount of eggs and will receive age appropriate prizes. Registration is required.

Confirmation

Confirmation is the portion of a young person’s lifelong faith journey during which they begin to form their own views about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, mission and the church. It is their chance to say “yes” to the promises their parents made at their baptism and for the church to say “yes” to their growing faith. Confirmation is a multiple-month commitment of learning, questioning and exploring that usually begins in middle school and culminates in the rite of confirmation, generally held on Pentecost.

Teeter-Totter Marathon

The 48th Teeter-Totter Marathon kicked off at 9am on Saturday, May 4th, and finished at noon on Sunday, May 5th. Our many thanks to the riders, donors, collectors, and unicorns who helped us raise over $10,000 for Second Mile Outreach and The Gathering Place. We’ve now raised over $290,000 in the last 48 years to impact our community.
